Over the past 37 years, we have refined our practice to become a fee-for-service restorative practice. We are not providers for any insurance plans. We do, however, file claims on behalf of our patients. We have worked to attract quality patients, who want quality care, and have the discretionary income necessary. Many trusting relationships have been formed. We have never marketed, nor advertised, as our practice is based 100% patient, or doctor referrals. In recent years, we have been in a position to choose whom we wish to see and treat. We have two part-time hygienists who currently see patients on Mondays and Fridays. They are always booked at least six months in advance. Nearly 100% of our patients book their next recare visit before they leave the office. We do have a number of people who are on 3-4 month intervals. There are plenty of opportunties to grow the practice for an ambitious doctor who wishes to perform surgery, endodontics, perio or ortho, which we have elected not to do.
