It is with great pride that we announce the change of our company name to ADS Midwest. Don’t be concerned - we have not sold out, changed ownership or personnel – we are simply re-branding ourselves as ADS Midwest.

As founding members of American Dental Sales, our affiliate organization, we have grown and evolved into the most trusted and respected dental brokerage/consulting company in the Midwest and the time has come to identify with our other affiliate members as a national organization.

ADS is literally composed of the best professionals in the transition field. We do not offer franchises to just anyone who wants to sell dental practices. All prospective members must pass review by our nomination committee and meet quality and experience requirements. To be admitted to ADS, they must be voted upon by the entire ADS membership. ADS members are subject to internal standards and peer review. We take integrity, competence and quality seriously!

Guy Jaffe, MBA

Guy Jaffe, MBA received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Illinois in Champaign and his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He had a successful career developing and managing commercial real estate as president of Pan American Realty Corporation. At one time, Mr. Jaffe served as Director of Community and Economic Development for the state of Missouri. He currently serves as a director of Metropolitan Capital Bancorp in Chicago.

Mr. Jaffe holds real estate broker's licenses in both Missouri and Illinois and is designated as an approved PACE program sponsor by the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of The Practice Valuation Study Group. In January 1996, Mr. Jaffe was a founding member of American Dental Sales (ADS). Today, ADS is the largest network of independent brokers and appraisers in the United States, and Mr. Jaffe is past president.

James Ackerman

James R. Ackerman is a graduate of St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting.. He began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen. After leaving to persue his life long passion as an airline pilot, Mr. Ackerman returned home to St. Louis to join ADS Midwest.

 

Peter Ackerman, CPA

Peter J. Ackerman, CPA is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with degrees in Accounting, General Business and Finance. He began his career in private accounting at Lane Industries, Northbrook, IL a holding company over such organizations as General Binding Company, Lane Hotels, Lane Aviation, Secret Communication and several other subsidiaries. In 1996 after earning his Certified Public Accountant designation Mr. Ackerman became a principle in ADS Midwest.

He is a member of and past President of ADS, a licensed real estate broker, a licensed business broker, and a member of Practice Valuation Study Group. Each year Mr. Ackerman lectures to dental audiences, residency classes, dental district meetings, continuing education courses and other dental society functions throughout the Midwest and United States.
